This is, along with 100 lbs of mostly dried rock now is the starting point, going to be reading some old posts and looking at the plumbing when everything is cleaned up.

Lol, For sure. Tank is mostly cleaned, sump cleaned and painted the stand and canopy. There are bulkheads on both sides of the overflow plugged but leak into the overflow. So I'm off to purchase some plumbing tomorrow!

So we are looking for suggestions on plumbing this thing, done a little reading and still have no idea how we want to set this up to optimize the turnover rate and have it somewhat quite so we don't have to crank the tv over the sound of our fish tank!

It has an overflow on each side, one stand pipe. We thought about possibly Herbie?

    Open to suggestions

So how many holes do you have in your tank? Four? Two returns and two drains?

No, just two, one in each overflow, the return was brought up over the back of the tank
